Gate News, March 18 — Chen Tianqiao, founder of Shanda Network, personally posted on LinkedIn to recruit a CFO for his AI company MiroMind. The post explicitly states, “Capital is our lifeline.” The job requirements include over ten years of experience, a background at top investment banks such as Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, or J.P. Morgan, familiarity with sovereign wealth funds and venture capital networks, bilingual in Chinese and English, residing in the United States, and able to travel regularly to Singapore. MiroMind positions itself as an “discovery-based intelligence” engine, dedicated to evolving large language models from “talking” to “discovering problem solvers.” Last week, the company announced the addition of three scientists to its core team: Du Shaolei, a former key member of xAI and associate professor at the University of Washington, responsible for reasoning models; An Bo, a tenured professor at Nanyang Technological University, responsible for runtime and agent systems; and Yang Kaiyu, a former research scientist at Meta FAIR, responsible for the Verified AI Laboratory.
