I have saved this article, and while reading it, I also reflected on myself. Since 2017, every bull and bear market has seen me pull back by over a hundred thousand. The feeling you wrote about in your article, thinking it was just a pullback during a bull market, but it turned out to be the top, is something I'm all too familiar with. The purpose of saving this article is to remind myself to say two words: "enough". Don't be greedy for what comes next, as the more greedy you are, the harder it will be to get out.
