Ripple Expands Stablecoin Payments in Europe with AMINA

Announced on December 12, 2025, the agreement marks Ripple's partnership with Swiss-based FINMA-regulated crypto bank AMINA Bank. This is Ripple Payments' first bank integration in Europe: AMINA will offer its crypto-focused clients instant cross-border payments with Ripple USD (RLUSD) and other stablecoins.

Previously, in 2025, AMINA launched its first global bank custody and trading service for RLUSD. This expansion overcomes the barriers of traditional banking by combining fiat and blockchain rails, enabling fast payments in multiple currencies.

AMINA Product Director Myles Harrison: "This will revolutionize stablecoin transactions." Ripple UK & Europe MD Cassie Craddock: "We are integrating digital asset innovators into traditional finance."

This move strengthens Ripple's presence in Europe and revitalizes the XRP ecosystem.
