Foresight News notes that DDoS attacks (Distributed Denial of Service) are a common type of cyberattack. Attackers control a large number of infected computers to send massive amounts of fake requests to target servers, networks, or websites, exhausting resources such as bandwidth, CPU, and memory, causing legitimate users to be unable to access services normally.
