Gemini3's Recommended Principles for Unrestricted Attack Response
The widely accepted best response principle is "Run, Hide, Fight"
Detailed execution steps and key survival tips for these three actions:
1. Run (RUN) Primary option: If there is an opportunity to leave the scene, you should escape without hesitation
- Immediate departure: Do not stop to take photos, record videos, or observe
- Discard external belongings: Do not waste time packing bags or picking up dropped items; life is more important than possessions
- Disperse and escape: If accompanied by friends or family, agree on a distant meeting point, then each find the fastest route to escape (avoid gathering together to prevent becoming a large target)
- No need to wait for others: If bystanders are frozen in fear and not moving, you can loudly remind them, but do not stay behind because of ineffective persuasion
- Prevent others from entering: During escape, if you see someone about to enter a dangerous area, warn and stop them
2. Hide (HIDE) Secondary option: If escape routes are blocked or too dangerous, immediately seek cover
- Find cover (Cover): Hide behind objects that can block bullets or blades (such as solid walls, thick wooden tables, large appliances), not just objects that obscure sight (like curtains, bushes)
- Lock doors and block entry: After entering a room, immediately lock the door. If unable to lock, use heavy objects (tables, cabinets) to block the door
- Stay absolutely quiet: Silence your phone, turn off even vibration, set screen brightness to minimum, remain calm, do not make crying or talking sounds
- Avoid sightlines: Stay away from windows and glass on doors, crouch or lie on the ground to reduce visibility
3. Fight (FIGHT) Last resort: Only when escape and hiding are impossible, and the attacker is close and life is immediately threatened, should you choose to fight back
- Use nearby objects: Find usable weapons (fire extinguishers, hot coffee, chairs, pens, umbrellas)
- Target vital points: Attack the attacker’s vulnerable areas (eyes, throat, groin)
- Group cooperation: If multiple people are present, try to act simultaneously, throw heavy objects to distract, then rush to subdue
- Decisive and determined: Once deciding to fight, use all your strength, do not hold back, until the threat is eliminated
Important addition: When police arrive
When law enforcement arrives, their primary task is to subdue the attacker. They may not immediately distinguish victims from attackers. To avoid accidental harm, please strictly follow these principles:
- Raise both hands and open them: Make it clear to police that you are unarmed
- Do not rush toward police: Do not excitedly run to hug or grab police officers upon seeing help; this may be perceived as a threat
- Follow instructions: Move or lie down as directed by police
- Do not stop to seek help: If slightly injured during evacuation, continue moving to a safe area; rescue personnel are usually waiting in the rear
Mental preparedness (Situational Awareness)
- Observe exits: When entering a cinema, restaurant, or mall, habitually check where the "emergency exits" are (usually not the door you entered)
- Stay alert: Do not stare at your phone while walking; always be aware of any unusual noises or commotion around you
The key to this process is "decision speed." In the first few seconds of chaos, the faster you decide to "run," the higher your chances of survival
