Bitcoin = Gold,
Litecoin = Silver.
This narrative has caught my attention even more as institutional investors $LTC establish funds(.
2020–2021 Pandemic & Liquidity
Silver: During the March 2020 )Pandemic crash, it dropped to $12. Then in August 2020, it surged to the $29 - $30 range.
Litecoin: At the beginning of 2020, it was around $40. About 8-9 months after Silver's sharp rise in 2020, in May 2021, it reached $410.
The main reason Litecoin is compared to Silver is not just the supply quantity but its High Beta characteristic.
What is High Beta?
When the main asset rises, the follower asset with a lower market cap reacts much more sharply and with a higher percentage.
Silver is like a leveraged version of Gold.
Litecoin is also a delayed but sharply moving reflection of Bitcoin.
