Recently, I noticed an interesting phenomenon—BNB on the Ethereum chain is actually trading at a 10% premium over major exchanges, reaching as high as 2405U each. This price gap sparked my curiosity about on-chain data.
I took a closer look at the top 100,000 wallet addresses and found some clues. Most of these addresses originate from the early airdrop in 2018, when BNB was ridiculously cheap—only about 0.1 each. Back then, participants might have received only 0.1 to 0.2 BNB per address, and those tokens have just been sitting there for over 6 years.
Even more interesting is that the total amount of BNB on the Ethereum chain now reaches 326,000. Imagine how many of these coins have been completely forgotten? I estimate that 99% of the holders have long since abandoned this airdrop. They quietly reside in those old wallet addresses, untouched by anyone, and no one even remembers they exist.
This story is really about the power of time. Those who held on early on can now see their account balances and feel the impact deeply. And most people? They probably have completely forgotten they even had such an asset back in the day.

Wow, isn't this just a reflection of me? The few BNB airdropped back then have long been forgotten. Now looking at these numbers, I feel a bit scared.

Wow, putting 0.1 BNB now? How many times would that be? I can't keep up with the calculations.

Wow, this is my story. I never thought that when I was farming with 0.1 dollars back then, I would have today. I can't believe it when I look back now.

Wow, this is the legendary sleeping asset. 326,000 BNB just lying there? I bet those who bought the 0.1 yuan for fifty cents are now wealthy, haha.
