One of the largest treasuries in Ethereum, the BitMNR project, has recently taken new steps. They have decided to start experimenting with ETH staking for profit, and their first move was quite substantial—transferring 74,880 ETH into a staking contract 50 minutes ago, which is approximately $211 million at the current price.

This is their first foray into staking. More notably, this institution currently holds 4.066 million ETH—just imagine the scale. With the current Ethereum staking APY of about 3.12%, if they stake their entire position, they could earn approximately 12,680 ETH in interest over a year.

From this move, it’s clear that large coin-holding institutions are shifting from simply hoarding coins to actively generating returns. In the long-term view of the Ethereum ecosystem, such large-scale locking is also a positive signal.

Wow, 4,066,000 ETH. How many years would it take to accumulate that... You're only now starting to stake? Why didn't you do it earlier?

Wow, 4.06 million ETH staked directly, earning 126,800 ETH in a year? That’s so awesome. The small amount I bought can’t even compete at this level...

This is the correct posture to play with money, just lying down can earn 126,800 pieces a year, crying greedily

Now it's all good. The big whales are also starting to relax and earn interest, much easier than our mining haha

Whales are finally starting to stake. Is Ethereum really about to take off? --- 4.06 million ETH, just thinking about it makes me dizzy. If all of it is staked for a year, earning over 120,000 in interest... Oh my God. --- From holding coins to earning yields, this is the true institutional play. --- Laughing out loud, $219 million just as a teaser to test the waters—such boldness is incredible. --- Large funds are all looking for yield opportunities, indicating that the market is indeed changing. --- Staking APY is only 3.12%? Feels not as attractive as I imagined. --- This kind of large lock-up is good for the ecosystem, but something still feels off. --- BitMNR directly stakes 75k ETH—really not treating money as money. --- The key is they are just starting to try staking; how much more yield can they unlock later? --- Imagine a lock-up of 4 million tokens—what a huge impact it would have on Ethereum's liquidity.

Wow, 4.06 million ETH, just from staking interest alone in a year, over 120,000 coins. That must be so awesome!
