#区块链生态发展 Recently came across news about the Solana ecosystem, and I was a bit shocked😮 I heard that most startups with revenue exceeding one hundred million are building on Solana. What does this mean? It feels like an ecosystem is really coming to life.
Previously, I was quite vague about the concept of a blockchain ecosystem, always thinking it was very lofty. But seeing Solana's co-founders say that they now have thousands of entrepreneurs exploring various possibilities, and over 1700 teams participating in hackathons, I suddenly understood — isn’t an ecosystem just a group of people innovating and building together on a platform?
What’s even more interesting is that they plan to adjust their original on-chain target from a certain number to 25%, with Solana taking a 10% share of that. It sounds very ambitious, but think about what the entire crypto industry would look like if they really achieve this? Banks and countries are starting to issue assets on-chain, which doesn’t quite sound like the "virtual currency" concept I heard two years ago🤔
Honestly, these big numbers are still a bit abstract for a newcomer like me. Can anyone explain why these startups choose to build on Solana instead of other public chains? Is it because of fast transaction speeds or low fees? I want to learn more details!
