Recently, TRU has been rising for two consecutive days. To be honest, the increase isn't very large, but take a look at the funding rate—it has long been in deep negative territory. This is interesting. I checked the contract data, and retail investors are mostly chasing long positions, while big players have actually accumulated quite a few short positions below. The technical analysis also tells the same story: after the last hourly candle reached a high point, it was followed by a bearish candle, a classic top-reversal pattern. This kind of topping and pullback usually signals a price reversal. From the funding perspective, position structure, to candlestick patterns, all these signals point in the same direction. The short position window should be just around the corner.

Damn, big players are scamming retail investors again to take the bait? I was saying, with such negative fees, how could it keep rising? Is this wave of short positions really coming?

Retail investors are still chasing there, while big players have already set the trap. I've seen this trick too many times.

The negative funding rate indeed warrants in-depth exploration. From the perspective of token economics, the asymmetry between retail investors chasing longs and large investors accumulating shorts exemplifies a classic case of incentive misalignment.

Retail investors are trapped again, while big players have already placed their short orders and are waiting.
