Based on market performance and ecosystem maturity, I tend to divide mainstream coins into two tiers. The first tier is the absolute leaders: $BTC, $ETH, $BNB . Their liquidity, recognition, and application ecosystems are completely unmatched. The second tier includes $SOL, $XRP, $TRX. Although their sizes and popularity vary, each has its own ecosystem story to tell.
Looking further down, there are some standout projects in niche areas worth paying attention to—$LINK is solid in the oracle space, $ZEC is obsessed with privacy protection, and $TAO and $PENDLE represent the trends of AI agents and yield derivatives, respectively.
Honestly, if I had to choose, I would still prefer to start with allocations in $BTC, $ETH, and $BNB , as the balance of risk and opportunity is easier to manage.

This tier division is reasonable, but my brother played it safe. I still believe in SOL's potential.
It's a common topic; everyone knows about BTC and ETH, but the key is still the performance of the second-tier projects.
These three are indeed stable, but the real opportunities are in the next tier, brother.
Honestly, my main focus is on LINK and TAO; the others are just along for the ride.
I feel like I've been brainwashed by the big narratives. The stories of smaller tokens are actually more interesting.

The tiered approach is still a bit of waiting for the rabbit, the next round may depend on who breaks the deadlock first.

The tier division is indeed clear, but honestly, are those still stubbornly holding onto BTC and ETH a bit too conservative...
---
The few in the second tier, SOL's rebound this time has been quite fierce, be careful of the fate of those catching the falling knives.
---
LINK and ZEC, as niche leaders, are indeed easy to overlook, but poor liquidity can be deadly.
---
Starting to allocate to the three major assets is a good approach, but it feels like a bit lacking in imagination?
---
TAO and PENDLE being mentioned together is hinting that a new track is coming soon, but I feel it's still too early...
---
The disclaimer is already included, this operation is a bit professional haha.

Honestly, this note is more reliable than most self-media recommendations, just not sure how high the time cost of your tier division is.
