Most people testing a DeFi app or card today focus on the wrong metrics. They obsess over APR numbers and slick UI designs—but honestly, that's just window dressing.

What actually matters? How the platform treats your identity and data. That's the real test.

Here's what I'm asking before I touch anything new: Where does my information actually live? Is it trapped in some isolated silo controlled by one platform, or can it connect to an open, user-controlled identity layer? Can I own my data portably across apps? Most importantly—can I revoke access whenever I want?

These questions separate the projects serious about user sovereignty from the ones just copying traditional finance's playbook.

ngl, that's the real issue. I've been fed up with those high APRs that are all talk.

Honestly, after looking at so many DeFi projects, 99% are just playing with numbers. Very few truly care about user data sovereignty.

To be honest, people who still only look at APR and UI are a bit clueless. What really matters is how the platform treats your data... that's the core.

Honestly, anyone still obsessing over APR right now really needs to wake up—that's just an IQ tax. The real threshold is two words: data. Whether you can casually revoke permissions or not, I can still take another look at the contract code at any time.
