The most sophisticated scammers often do not tell outright lies. They selectively present facts: avoiding key parts, emphasizing minor details, and adjusting the order of narration and expression to lead the listener to draw the intended conclusion. Therefore, on the surface, everything they say is true, but the overall "meaning" presented is deliberately crafted. The highest level of deception does not lie in creating falsehoods but in utilizing truth. Because truth itself is hard to refute, when facts are rearranged and selectively presented, even if the problem is noticed, it is difficult to directly deny it. This creates what is known as a "positive scheme," visible but hard to crack. Lies are easier to expose, while carefully arranged truths are the most confusing.
