Mars Finance News: On February 15, Tesla CEO Elon Musk revealed that Tesla (TSLA.O) will stop selling its Full Self-Driving (FSD) assist system as a one-time payment and will instead fully adopt a monthly subscription model. This change will take effect after February 14. Previously, Tesla sold the system for a one-time payment of $8,000 or a $99 monthly subscription fee. Although Musk did not specify the reason for this adjustment, his compensation partly depends on business growth. According to a compensation plan approved by shareholders in November last year, Tesla must achieve multiple targets, including reaching 10 million FSD subscription users, for Musk to receive additional stock awards.
