Managing Your Deposit and Withdrawal History on Gate.io

Understanding how to monitor your fund movements is essential for maintaining control of your crypto assets. On Gate.io, the deposit and withdrawal history feature provides a comprehensive record of all your transactions, helping you track account activity and verify fund status at any time.

Why Track Your Deposit and Withdrawal History

Keeping tabs on your deposit and withdrawal history serves multiple purposes. It allows you to verify that funds have been successfully received or sent, monitor transaction fees, identify patterns in your trading activity, and quickly address any transaction issues. With the 90-day transaction window available in most exchanges, you can review recent activity while maintaining access to older records through filtered searches.

Finding Your Complete Fund Movement Records

To access your transaction records, navigate to the Assets section, typically located at the top right of your dashboard. From there, select your desired account type—whether that’s Spot or Funding Account. Once in your account view, locate and click the History button to enter the comprehensive fund movement tracking area.

Within this section, you’ll find two main tabs: Deposit and Withdrawal. Use the Type menu below the History tab to filter your records and focus on the specific transaction type you need to review. The system will display records from the last 90 days in the All Transactions view, with options to narrow results further through additional filters.

Interpreting Deposit Status and Information

Your deposit records contain several important data points for verification:

  • Transaction Details: Your deposit records show the coin type, blockchain network used, transaction quantity, and timestamp
  • Deposit Address: The unique address where your assets were sent into Gate.io
  • Current Status: Two primary statuses indicate your deposit state:
    • Pending: Your deposit is awaiting blockchain confirmation. Assets will appear in your account once validators confirm the transaction
    • Completed: Your deposit has been successfully confirmed and is now available in your account

To investigate any deposit further, click the Details button to retrieve your Transaction ID (TXID). This identifier allows you to verify confirmations directly on the blockchain explorer. Different coins and blockchain networks require varying confirmation counts before funds are credited—check the official documentation for specific requirements for your deposit.

If you cannot locate a deposit record you believe should be there, the transaction may not have been successfully sent to your Gate.io address. In such cases, consult the deposit recovery resources available in the help center to address the issue.

Understanding Withdrawal Status and Details

Withdrawal records are organized by withdrawal method—on-chain transfers versus internal platform transfers. Ensure you’re viewing the correct method category to find your specific transaction.

For on-chain withdrawals, your records display:

  • Transaction Specs: Coin type, blockchain network, withdrawal amount, associated network fee, and transaction date and time
  • Destination Address: The wallet address where your assets are being sent
  • Transaction Identification: The TXID that tracks your withdrawal across the blockchain
  • Withdrawal Status: Six possible withdrawal statuses provide detailed progress information:
    • Under Review: Your withdrawal request is being validated by the system before processing begins
    • Withdrawal in Progress: Your request has been approved and is currently being processed
    • Sent: Assets have left the platform and are awaiting blockchain confirmation; they’ll soon appear in your destination wallet
    • Withdrawal Completed: Your assets have successfully arrived at the recipient address
    • Canceled: You initiated cancellation of this withdrawal request
    • Rejected: The system declined this withdrawal request

Internal transfers within Gate.io won’t generate a TXID since they bypass the blockchain entirely—they occur directly between platform accounts.

Resolving Common Withdrawal Issues

If your withdrawal shows as Withdrawal Completed on Gate.io but hasn’t appeared at another exchange, you can provide your TXID to that platform’s support team for assistance in recovery.

Should you receive a refund from another platform and wish to deposit those recovered funds into Gate.io, follow the self-service appeal process available in the help resources.

Saving and Exporting Your Records

To preserve your complete deposit and withdrawal history for record-keeping, tax documentation, or analysis purposes, Gate.io provides data export functionality. You can extract your transaction history, order records, and other account data in formats suitable for external analysis or archival storage. Review the dedicated guides on exporting account data and interpreting exported files for complete instructions on this process.

Regularly monitoring your deposit and withdrawal history ensures you stay informed about your fund movements and can quickly address any discrepancies that may arise.
