Mars Finance reports that Avalanche ecosystem fund and accelerator project Colony issued a statement on Medium, stating that after approximately five years of operation within the AVAX ecosystem, the team has decided to officially cease operations by the end of the first quarter of 2026. The statement pointed out that factors such as slowed ecosystem growth in recent years, reduced inflow of funds and projects, and changes in core technology and asset governance structures have made it difficult to continue the project. During the withdrawal phase, the team stated that they will not use protocol liquidity or community funds, and the related CLY tokens have not been sold or staked. The team will conduct final distributions to CLY stakers and gradually shut down the frontend interface.
