#龙虾 Global Energy and Digital Economy Summit held in New York, world leaders discuss OpenClaw and energy settlement innovation
NEW YORK – On March 13th, local time, the Global Energy Security and Digital Economy Leaders Summit took place in New York. Heads of state, government leaders, energy ministers, and senior officials from international financial institutions attended the conference, engaging in discussions on AI computing power energy consumption, cross-border energy trading costs, and global green electricity coordination.
The conference focused on the rapid worldwide adoption of the AI agent OpenClaw (community nickname “Lobster”), which has caused a significant increase in global computing power electricity usage. All parties agreed that OpenClaw consumes enormous amounts of energy, and that cross-border electricity and computing power settlement involve multiple steps, high fees, and slow fund transfers, creating an urgent need for an efficient, low-cost, unified global settlement system.
In response to the highly market-focused issue of “Lobster Coin,” participants held specialized discussions. The proposed solution involves using Lobster Coin as an intermediary medium for cross-border settlement of computing power and energy, to facilitate electricity procurement, computing power leasing, green electricity trading, and cross-border energy fee clearing, thereby reducing currency exchange costs and shortening settlement cycles to address payment pain points in the AI industry and global energy trade.
All parties reached a consensus supporting the compliant deployment of Lobster Coin in energy and computing scenarios. A clearing framework will be jointly established by energy companies and financial institutions from multiple countries, clarifying regulatory standards, anti-money laundering, and compliance mechanisms. Priority will be given to transactions related to green electricity, computing power, and AI energy consumption, while speculative trading with the general public will be prohibited.
The organizers stated that this conference provides a new pathway for energy and financial collaboration in the AI era. A dedicated working group will be established to promote technical integration, regulatory coordination, and pilot projects, aiming to build a new global energy trading system that is low-cost, highly efficient, safe, and stable. #Gate广场AI测评官 #加密市场上涨
