The last memecoin season in crypto will happen on $TON.
We keep hearing this from major influencers:
> but why isn't it happening right now?
Because $TON lacks the memecoin culture you see on, say, $SOL or $BNB.
It exists, but not to the extent that drives the market.
On $TON, the narrative isn't the main factor for buying a memecoin. Here’s what users actually want from a memecoin:
> a doxxed developer;
> the dev must not sell;
> the dev must constantly buy;
> the dev must lock the supply or burn it;
> it must have utility;
> if the dev owns a coffee shop, a car dealership, or a bakery IRL — that's bullish;
> the dev's wallet must have money in it.
And a bunch of other criteria that make degens from other chains burst out laughing.
Memecoins don't need utility. They don't need a doxxed dev.
Memecoins are the attention economy:
> narrative + strong community = golden formula.
When will this change?
When more degens who get the culture finally enter $TON:
> that's when the real memecoin season will begin.
Until then, I'm just holding my bags and hoping for better days.
