Pyongyang-originating China-North Korea passenger train arrives at Beijing Station

An international passenger train running bidirectionally between China and North Korea, departing from Pyongyang, arrived in Beijing on the 13th morning.

The train, number "K28", departed from Pyongyang Station at 10:26 AM the previous day and arrived at Beijing Station at 8:40 AM that morning. The train departing from Beijing also left at 5:26 PM the previous afternoon, passing through Tianjin, Shanhaiguan, Shenyang, Dandong, and Sinuiju in North Korea, arriving at Pyongyang Station at 6:07 PM that day.

This marks the resumption of bidirectional passenger train service between China and North Korea after a 6-year hiatus. North Korea closed its borders in January 2020 for epidemic prevention and control, resulting in the suspension of the train service. According to information from China State Railway Group, the train will operate bidirectionally on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays each week. #全球经济
