# Crypto Market Volatility: Battle for $70,000, My Strategy and Position Approach

The crypto market has weakened over the past three days, with BTC briefly breaking below $69,000 and ETH dropping below the $2,200 support level. Many are starting to panic: Is this a pullback? Or just consolidation?

Let me share my conclusion first: I believe this is typical "volatility shakeout," not a trend reversal.

## I. My Position Allocation: Staged Entry, No Chasing Highs

Currently, my allocation is 60% spot + 20% perpetual swing trading + 20% USDT reserves.

Specific strategy:

· **BTC**: Buying in staged amounts in the $68,500-$70,000 range, adding 1 position for every $1,000 drop
· **ETH**: Limit orders around $2,100, with $2,000 as strong support below
· **Altcoins**: Currently holding only ARB and FET, keeping positions within 15% of total capital

Why not go all-in? Because in volatile markets, "going all-in and getting trapped" is the biggest risk. Keep dry powder—be ready to advance or retreat.

## II. Which Coins Are Holding Up? What I've Observed

In this pullback, several coins have shown relative resilience:

1. **BTC**: The big brother lives up to its name, quickly pulling back above $70,000 after breaking $69,000—clear support
2. **BNB**: Decline smaller than the market average, supported by ecosystem strength
3. **LINK**: Oracle leader, Chainlink's on-chain data has been solid recently
4. **FET**: AI sector leader with strong capital attention

I personally lean toward increasing positions in BTC and FET—one is the "ballast," the other is the "offense."

## III. Can BTC Hold $70,000?

From a technical perspective, $70,000 is an important psychological level and also a previous high-volume trading zone. Whether it can hold depends on three factors:

1. **Volume**: If it breaks above $71,500 with volume, a new rally wave could begin
2. **Macro**: Next week's U.S. PCE data is crucial; if inflation continues declining, rate-cut expectations warm up—bullish for BTC
3. **Institutional flow**: MicroStrategy is still buying, Grayscale outflows are decreasing—clear institutional support

My assessment: $70,000 will likely hold, but may need 1-2 weeks of consolidation. Now is not the time to panic, but to position.

## IV. Interactive Question

What's your current position level? Are you "waiting on the sidelines" or "building positions in stages"?
