Bland, a company providing AI-driven voice platform technology, announced the launch of an AI assistant called “Norm.” The platform enables technical teams to easily build reliable voice agents through conversational prompts. Bland pointed out that creating voice AI agents is complex and requires extensive expertise. These agents must handle human responses, conversation interruptions, tone changes, and provide natural responses.

Isaiah Granett, CEO of Bland, said that Norm will change all that. Its goal is to expand the application of AI agents by building complex scenarios, offering product guidance, and flexibly managing appointments.

Bland emphasized that Norm is designed to handle complex scenarios rather than simple responses, such as assisting with device malfunctions like blood pressure monitors or interpreting vague statements. These advancements are revolutionizing customer service, enabling AI voice agents to go beyond just acting as human call center interceptors.

Granett mentioned that Bland ensures the security of sensitive conversations and the reliability of critical business calls through self-developed models. This marks a new standard in the customer service industry, committed to improving past inefficient automation systems.
