Today I want to explain something that anyone entering the crypto or trading world must hear: Bullish and Bearish. Surely many of you have wondered why animals are used to describe rising or falling prices, right?
Actually, its origin is quite interesting. The term Bull (bull) is used to indicate a rising market because when a bull attacks, it lifts its horns upward from below, symbolizing the price going up. Conversely, Bear (bear) is used to indicate a falling market because a bear attacks by swiping its claws downward, which is exactly a symbol of the price going down.
So when people say the market is bullish, they mean the price will increase. And when they say bearish, they expect the price to decrease. It’s that simple.
What’s interesting is that these terms originate from the financial markets in the 18th century, when traders used these animal comparisons as a quick way to describe market movements. Then it spread worldwide and is still used daily in trading today.
Quick comparison: Bullish = Up, Bearish = Down. Just classic comparisons, but they’ve survived to this day.
Now, my question for you is: Do you currently feel the market is bullish or bearish? Share your thoughts below. And don’t forget to follow me for more interesting updates. Thank you all very much!
