Am 8. Mai fiel der Hang-Seng-Index zum Handelsstart um 1%, während der Hang-Seng-Tech-Index um 0,81% nachgab. Software-Aktien eröffneten überwiegend fester: Baidu Group-SW stieg um 2,91%, Meituan um 3,18% und Kingsoft Software um 1,06%.

Die Baidu-Tochter Kunlun Chip hat eine Prognose für ein Börsengang (IPO) an der Shanghai Stock Exchange Science and Technology Innovation Board (STAR Market) initiiert.
