Laut Mike McCluskey, Mitbegründer von Tx und ehemaliger Fidelity-Manager, fiel der südkoreanische Kospi-Index (KOSPI 200, Südkoreas Leitindex für Aktien) am Dienstag, den 23. Juni, um 8 %, was einen Level-1-Circuit-Breaker auslöste, der wiederum den starken Rückgang von Bitcoin auf 59.018 US-Dollar nach sich zog.
Rückgänge bei Nvidia und Micron im Zuge einer breiteren globalen Halbleiterkorrektur führten zu Liquidationen von Long-Positionen im Wert von 700 Millionen US-Dollar, so McCluskeys Analyse der Ansteckung von Seoul nach Nasdaq.
