Laut Valuethe Markets hat Travala am 6. Juni das Travel-MCP-Protokoll gestartet und ermöglicht es KI-Agenten, Hotelaufenthalte zu buchen und mit USDC über das Base-Netzwerk von Coinbase zu bezahlen. Die Zahlungen werden über Coinbases x402-Protokoll abgewickelt und erlauben damit gasfreie USDC-Transaktionen mit nahezu sofortiger Abwicklung zu etwa einem Cent pro Transaktion.
