BlockBeats News. On June 22, U.S. Vice President Vance said that the Strait of Hormuz has reopened, and that both Iran and the U.S. have established a long-term mechanism to keep the strait operating smoothly. He said that the talks at Birgen Mountain are making good progress; the negotiations at one point continued until around 1 a.m., laying a solid foundation for the final comprehensive agreement.

On the nuclear issue, Vance revealed that Iran has agreed to invite International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors to conduct a follow-up visit, which is an important signal that the negotiations have achieved substantive progress. Regarding the situation in Lebanon, Vance said he hopes to ensure that all parties remain properly coordinated.

Vance also emphasized that there is still a large amount of work to be done. Technical-level negotiations will continue in the coming days and weeks, and the technical teams will continue to follow up. He added that if Iran makes false statements, President Trump will respond. Vance said that she will return to the United States immediately after the negotiations end.
