About Myriad (XMY)
Myriadcoin ist die erste Kryptowährung, die fünf verschiedene Proof-of-Work-Hashing-Algorithmen in derselben Münze implementiert, nämlich Scrypt, SHA256D, Qubit, Skein und Groestl. Dieser mehrfache Hashing-Algorithmus dient dazu, das Mining fairer zu gestalten und eine gleichmäßige Verteilung zu fördern. Jeder Algorithmus hat die gleiche Chance, den nächsten Block zu lösen und verfügt über eine eigene unabhängige Schwierigkeit, während die gleiche Methode zur Schwierigkeitsanpassung verwendet wird.
Jeder Algorithmus zielt auf eine Blockgenerierungszeit von 2,5 Minuten ab. Alle existierenden CPU-, GPU- und ASIC-Miner können zum Mining von Myriadcoin verwendet werden. Über die fünf Algorithmen hinweg sollte im Durchschnitt alle 30 Sekunden ein Block gefunden werden.
Alle 967680 Blöcke halbiert sich die Blockbelohnung, um die Inflation zu reduzieren. Die Schwierigkeit wird nach jedem Block angepasst. Myriadcoin wurde am 23. Februar 2014 eingeführt.
