The first cross-border data service center in downtown Shanghai was inaugurated.

On the same day, the Jing'an District data cross-border service center was inaugurated. Fan Xiaowei, director of the Shanghai Municipal Cyberspace Administration, stated that the establishment of the Jing'an District data cross-border service center is another important achievement in Shanghai's deepening reform in the field of cross-border data flow. As an important extension of the “central-city-district” three-tiered cyberspace system, it fills the gap of “proximity service” for cross-border data in the central urban area and provides systematic institutional support for the compliant development of regional enterprises' cross-border data. The Shanghai Municipal Cyberspace Administration hopes that Jing'an District will continue to enhance its cyberspace service capabilities and provide a model for exploring the construction of a cyberspace system at the district level in super-large cities.
