According to the Hong Kong Economic Journal, AI hardware stocks faced sharp selling pressure on July 16, with Kingboard Laminates (1888.HK) plunging as much as 14% to reach an intraday low of HK$48.50. As of 11:50 a.m., the stock was trading at HK$49.58, down 12.1% with trading volume exceeding HK$3.1 billion. Kingboard Chemical (148.HK) fell 9.2% to HK$57.05, while Fiberhome Telecommunications (6869.HK) declined 5.7% to HK$147.50.
