Aina Raises $5.5M Led by Redstart Labs and 360 ONE for AI Agent Control Devices

According to TechCrunch, Aina, a Bengaluru and San Francisco-based hardware startup, has raised $5.5 million in funding led by Redstart Labs (backed by Info Edge, India) and 360 ONE on July 16. Other backers include MIXI Global Investments, Antler, Blume Founders Fund, and investors such as WhatsApp head Kunal Shah and Razorpay co-founders Harshil Mathur and Shashank Kumar.

Founded by Apoorv Shankar, former hardware VP at smart ring maker Ultrahuman, Aina has launched Dune, a three-key, context-aware keypad designed for meeting controls and app shortcuts. The company plans to test a second device with select users in the coming weeks, which will be engineered to actively control and trigger AI agents.
