Anthropic Signs 20-Year Data Center Agreement With TeraWulf, Expected to Generate $19B in Revenue

According to ChainCatcher, Anthropic has signed a 20-year lease agreement with TeraWulf to build AI computing infrastructure at a data center facility in Kentucky. The facility, located approximately one hour southwest of Louisville, is planned to have a capacity of around 400 megawatts, with initial power delivery expected to begin in the second half of 2027. Under the agreement, the lease is projected to generate approximately $19 billion in revenue for TeraWulf, a former Bitcoin mining company that has been transitioning toward AI data center infrastructure.
