According to Odaily and MSX.COM data, U.S. stock market opened on July 16 with mixed index performance. The Nasdaq fell 0.49%, while the S&P 500 declined 0.25% and the Dow Jones rose 0.25%. The VIX fear index increased 3.13%. AI stocks broadly declined, with Arm leading losses at 5.23%, followed by Astera Labs down 4.4%, Teradyne down 3.72%, Ambarella down 3.64%, and Micron down 3.5%.
