According to Lookonchain, BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes purchased 3,298 ETH for $6.39 million on July 28, bringing his July total to 7,213 ETH worth $13.87 million at an average entry price of $1,923. The Maelstrom chief investment officer is currently down approximately $301,000 on the cumulative position.

Ether was trading near $1,900 on July 28, up roughly 20% for the month, as renewed institutional demand drove ether ETF inflows of $103.9 million during the week of July 20-24, roughly triple bitcoin funds' $33.79 million over the same period.
