Beijing Launches 'Break Vicious Cycles' Dialogue Mechanism; Three Food Delivery Platforms Reach Consensus on Merchant Cost Reduction

According to Beijing's Market Supervision and Management Bureau, the city recently established a dialogue mechanism for platform economy to address competitive practices. Three major food delivery platforms—Meituan, Taobao Flashbuy, and JD.com Delivery—held their first consensus meeting with restaurant merchants and industry associations. The platforms reached agreement on five areas: subsidy optimization, fee concessions, rational marketing practices, merchant support measures, and delivery management standards.
