Binance to Remain in Europe After Greece Rejects MiCA Application

According to Reuters, Binance said it will continue operating in Europe despite Greece's financial regulator rejecting its application for a license under the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework. Gillian Lynch, head of Binance for Europe and the United Kingdom, told Reuters the company is "not leaving Europe" and may pursue alternative authorization pathways. The exchange has one week to secure a license from another EU member state before its current permission expires, with reported talks ongoing with regulators in Ireland and Latvia.
