Bitcoin Long-Term Holder Supply Hits All-Time High of 16.64M BTC on July 21

According to Coinglass, Bitcoin long-term holder supply hit a fresh all-time high on July 21, with the cohort holding 16.64 million BTC, representing 83% of total supply and worth approximately $1.07 trillion in June.

Cryptoquant CEO Ki Young Ju noted that the accumulation reflects a specific dynamic: "Strategy and ETF buyers absorbed large old-whale selling." This means established long-term holders are distributing coins while new buyers—including corporate treasuries and spot ETF vehicles—absorb the supply and hold for the long term.
