CBOT Soybean Oil Futures Rise 2.2% on Thursday, Tracking Crude Oil Rebound After Oman Vessel Attack

According to reports, CBOT soybean oil futures rose 2.2% on Thursday (June 26), tracking a rebound in crude oil markets. International crude oil futures rallied after a cargo vessel was attacked near Oman, renewing concerns about when Middle East oil shipments will normalize. The crude rebound provided strong support for Chicago soybean oil prices. The U.S. Department of Agriculture's weekly export sales report showed that as of the week ending June 18, 2026, U.S. soybean oil net sales for the 2025/26 crop year totaled 900 metric tons, down 62% from the previous week.
