China-Russia Joint Naval Patrol Concludes on July 29, Task Force Arrives in Vladivostok

According to Jin10 Data, the naval task force from China and Russia concluded its joint maritime patrol on July 29, arriving in Vladivostok. The four-vessel formation, comprising three Chinese warships—guided-missile destroyers Kaifeng and Anshan, and multipurpose supply ship Koko-Silli—and Russia's frigate Gremyashchiy, departed Qingdao on July 13. The fleet transited through the Miyako Strait, Etorofu Strait, and Soya Strait, conducting joint operations in the Western Pacific, Sea of Okhotsk, and Sea of Japan. During the patrol, both navies conducted joint exercises including helicopter cross-deck landings, counter-terrorism operations, humanitarian assistance, and boarding and search drills.
