China's Foreign Ministry Responds to Concerns Over Indonesian Investment, Says Recent Remarks Not Targeting Beijing

According to China's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian at a regular briefing today, recent statements about foreign investors exploiting Indonesia's natural resources do not target China. The spokesperson reiterated that China-Indonesia economic and trade cooperation is mutually beneficial and that Indonesia has repeatedly expressed its welcome for Chinese investment, saying China believes Indonesia will continue to protect the legitimate rights of Chinese enterprises.
