According to a Xinhua News Agency report on July 28, China's Ministry of Commerce responded to recent protectionist measures by the European Union, stating that such actions have seriously dampened Chinese enterprises' confidence in EU cooperation. Ministry spokesperson Lin Weilong noted that while differences and frictions are inevitable given the scale of China-EU trade relations, baseless accusations and trade restrictions should not be used as pretexts to undermine practical cooperation. China expressed willingness to resolve disputes through dialogue and consultation with the EU.
