China's Tech Indices Rally 4%–8% on July 9; Global Stocks Rise

According to Jin10, major global stock indices closed higher on July 9 (Thursday). China's Shanghai Composite gained 1.65%, while the Shenzhen Component Index surged 3.07%. The ChiNext Index and STAR 50 Index posted stronger gains of 4.49% and 8.41% respectively. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index fell 0.7%. European indices were broadly up: Germany's DAX 30 rose 0.96%, France's CAC 40 gained 0.90%, and Spain's IBEX 35 climbed 1.38%. In the U.S., the Nasdaq Composite led with a 1.30% gain, while the S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average added 0.81% and 0.27% respectively.
