Cybersecurity Stocks Jump Up to 10% on IBM CEO's Q2 Cyber Concerns Comments

According to CNBC, cybersecurity stocks jumped on Tuesday (July 14) after IBM CEO Arvind Krishna emphasized cyber concerns as a top priority in the company's preliminary second-quarter results. Okta, NetSkope, and CrowdStrike surged about 10% each, while SailPoint, Zscaler, and SentinelOne gained about 8% each, and Palo Alto Networks rose about 7%. Krishna told CNBC that major deals were paused toward the end of the quarter as customers rethink spending on cybersecurity amid advanced AI model concerns.
