Dave Portnoy Vows to Hold Bitcoin Down to Zero After Buying at $100K, Now Facing Multimillion Losses

BTC-0.41%
According to FOX Business, Dave Portnoy, founder of Barstool Sports, said on Stuart Varney's show that he plans to hold his bitcoin regardless of price direction, even if it falls to zero. Portnoy bought bitcoin around $100,000 and is now sitting on losses in the millions, after the asset peaked above $126,000 in October last year before falling to approximately $63,000. "I'm holding. I'll hold this thing down to zero," Portnoy told the network, adding he has repeatedly tried to time the market but regrets his late-cycle entry. "I know if I sell it, it's going to go nuclear again. I'd rather go down with the ship this time."
