DeepSeek V4 Full Launch Expected Mid-July, Priced from $0.87 per Million Tokens

According to 36Kr, DeepSeek is nearing a full launch of its V4 model family within days after limited rollouts of V4 Flash and V4 Pro. The company said the full version would arrive in mid-July.

DeepSeek announced V4 pricing would shift to peak and off-peak billing, with V4 Pro output priced at $0.87 per million tokens in normal periods and $1.74 during peak times, while V4 Flash output starts at $0.28 per million tokens. V4 uses a mixture-of-experts design with a 1 million-token context window and scored 91.2% on the SWE-Bench Verified benchmark. The company's API changelog indicates that deepseek-chat and deepseek-reasoner will be discontinued on July 24, with migration mainly requiring a model name change.
