According to BlockBeats, on July 22, Ethereum Improvement Proposal EIP-8222 proposes using STARK-based encryption to weaken the traceability links between staking deposit addresses, validators, and withdrawal credentials, aiming to enhance on-chain privacy for institutional stakers.

Sygnum Bank noted the proposal could attract more institutional participation in staking but may increase execution costs, slow asset operation processes, and impose additional compliance and audit requirements. The proposal remains in discussion stage with no confirmed launch timeline.
