Federal Reserve Has 88.8% Probability of Holding Rates Steady in July, CME FedWatch Shows

According to CME FedWatch Tool data released on July 16, the Federal Reserve has an 88.8% probability of holding rates steady at its July meeting, with an 11.2% probability of raising rates by 25 basis points.

For September, the probability of maintaining rates steady stands at 51.2%, with a 44% probability of a 25-basis-point increase and a 4.7% probability of a 50-basis-point increase.
