Fidelity Scores 71% in Bitcoin Banking Adoption Index, Tops Major Wall Street Banks

According to Strategy, Fidelity leads the Bitcoin Banking Adoption Index with a score of 71% as of July 10, significantly ahead of competitors. BNY Mellon placed second with 46%, while Goldman Sachs scored 45%. JPMorgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, and Citigroup each scored 43%, with only two points separating them from Goldman Sachs.

The index evaluates 25 of the world's largest financial institutions across Bitcoin spot trading, crypto custody, and digital asset products. The average adoption rate across all institutions stood at 32%. Fidelity has maintained its lead since launching Fidelity Digital Assets in 2018. Major Wall Street banks are reportedly preparing additional crypto initiatives, including new investment instruments, expanded custody services, and tokenization platforms.
