Flare Launches Smart Accounts v1.3, Enabling Single-Signature XRPFi Access on July 28

Flare released Smart Accounts v1.3 on July 28, 2026, enabling XRP holders to mint FXRP and deposit assets into yield-generating vaults using only a single signature from their existing XRPL wallet, eliminating the need for separate EVM wallets, gas tokens, or manual bridging.

Since February 2026, FXRP deployed across DeFi protocols has grown 75 percent, rising from 82 million to 144 million FXRP. More than 40 million XRP is actively earning yield through Smart Accounts, with nearly 24,000 Smart Accounts created. The update expands wallet support to include Ledger, Xaman, Joey Wallet, and WalletConnect, alongside the newly introduced Clearstar Flare XRP Yield Vault for additional yield strategies.
