Galaxy Digital Acquires 500 Acres in Texas for Second AI Data Center, 74 MW Capacity Planned by 2028

According to The Block, Galaxy Digital has acquired approximately 500 acres in McGregor, Texas to build its second large-scale AI and high-performance computing (HPC) data center campus in the state. The first phase is planned at 74 MW capacity, with power supply expected by 2028 and expansion to hundreds of megawatts by 2030. The company projects the project will contribute at least $130 million to the local tax base.
