Gibraltar and Spain Dismantle Border Fence on July 15, Scrap Routine Checks

According to Jin10, on July 15, Gibraltar and Spain dismantled the land border fence between them and scrapped routine border checks for personnel and vehicles. Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez attended the fence removal ceremony at the border crossing between La Línea de la Concepción and Gibraltar. Sánchez stated the move marks the fall of "Europe's last wall" and opens a "new era of opportunities."
